3. Samoa Joe Vs Shinsuke Nakamura
The most recent entry and the inspiration behind this list, pretty much nobody saw this title change coming last Sunday at NXT TakeOver: Toronto. With Nakamura having won the title from Joe just three months prior in Brooklyn, no-one was banking on the Japanese superstar's reign coming to an end in his very first title defence. Add in the fact that nobody had ever before been a two-time NXT champ and, it's safe to say, another reign for Samoa Joe didn't seem on the cards at all.
However, after a strong match, a heel Joe showed his need to win at all costs. Kicking Nakamura below the belt, slamming him on the steel steps, before hitting the Muscle Buster in the ring for the unexpected win. The crowd were momentarily stunned by the finish, with a shocked silence briefly filling the arena.
