8 New Directions For WWE After Crown Jewel 2025
6. WarGames (Bloodline Meets Vision)?
Well now! WWE came through for Bronson Reed by putting him over top star and he who wields a cricket bat Roman Reigns in his home country. That had to feel good for Reed, and he deserves the spotlight. Bron Breakker gets a lot of attention in their tag-team, so it's nice to see things spread evenly between both partners. Reed did a solid enough job back at Clash In Paris to merit this rematch and the 'W'.
Now, attentions will turn to Survivor Series: WarGames on 29 November. There's clearly a ton of story to burn through before we reach that PLE, and The Bloodline side has some sorting out to do, but it looks plausible that Reigns, The Usos and at least one other worker will take on Seth Rollins, Bronson, Bron and someone else. Paul Heyman ain't getting in there, so stay tuned for more on who it could be later.
The rumour mill says that John Cena will wrestle Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Title come Survivors, so maybe it'd be wise to rule him out of a berth on the babyface side for WarGames. Cody, perhaps? It's not like he has much better to do, although he might have something purring away involving Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu on the SmackDown end.
WarGames matches will be a lock for the PLE at any rate. It just remains to be seen exactly who'll be in them. Solo Sikoa and his MFT unit vs. The Wyatt Sicks has been put forward on social media too, but is that really big enough to go in the cage? Meh, this is the problem with booking gimmick matches to suit a calendar rather than because stories necessitate them.
