5. A Slow Burn Jey Uso Heel Turn

WWE Crown Jewel 2025 The Usos Roman Reigns

What was that about The Bloodline boys having "some sorting out to do"? Jey Uso accidentally speared Roman through a table during the ‘Australian Street Fight’, which led to Bronson Reed getting the win. Reigns had warned The Usos to stay out of his business heading into the PLE, but they rushed out once Bron Breakker got involved. There was ice between the cousins post-match.

Uso instantly realised what he'd done and said: "My bad! My bad!" after the spear. That's something Reigns can point to as well on TV. 'My bad? My bad?! Are you for real, boy?'. Lines like that would work. After picking himself up off the canvas, Roman did say: "The whole world thinks I can't do s*** on my own", then: "It only works one way".

We'll find out a bit more about what he was referring to there on Raw soon.

Honestly, many can see a Jey heel turn coming, because it’s doubtful WWE will turn Roman again for a long time. He's finally over as a babyface, and that's something Reigns must surely covet after years of being booed out of buildings when Vince McMahon was relentlessly pushing him down fan throats a decade-ish ago.

WWE don't need to rush with Jey losing his "YEET" and turning it into something else. There's still loads of money to be made on the merch tables with that, but his general behaviour and the way Roman is mainly focusing on 'Main Event' over Jimmy does imply that a heel turn is in the works.
