4. Curt Hawkins And Zack Ryder

In the near two years that Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder were together, they held the WWE Tag Team Championship for a total of two months. While they were constantly featured in the main event mix on SmackDown thanks to their association with La Familia, they were rarely on the winning end of their matches.

Their split was the best thing to ever happen to Ryder, as he went on to find singles success and capture the United States and Intercontinental Championships. However, Hawkins wasn't as fortunate and was involved in several failed tag teams before departing the company in 2014.

It was a mystery that, outside of a one-off reunion on WWE Superstars in 2011, WWE never reunited The Major Brothers at any point, but they have the opportunity to do so now that Hawkins is set to come back to the blue brand relatively soon. Ryder may be currently teaming with Mojo Rawley as one-half of The Hype Bros, but perhaps ditching Rawley for his former friend and reverting back to his heel persona could lead to a career resurgence for The Long Island Iced Z.
