8 Teams Which Could Be Chris Jericho's Mystery AEW Dynamite Partners

1. LAX

The Authors of Pain's philosophical shaving gear dictates that Impact migrants LAX, though the most tedious outcome, are undoubtedly the most probable.

As we gear up for AEW's big Wednesday night debut, speculation insists that the newly (and quite stupendously) rechristened 'Proud-n-Powerful' are already set in stone to square off with The Young Bucks in Y2J's corner - and after their interpolation at the conclusion of All Out's AAA tag team championship tussle, it's eminently logical.

The problem is that it's also the most boring solution to a long-advertised 'mystery' angle. Jericho dropping the names Ortiz and Santana, whilst guaranteed a healthy reaction from a crowd trying to get the product over, is unlikely to generate the Twitter-worthy buzz a completely fresh and truly unexpected arrival would cause. On show 1, that sort of viral relevance is absolutely crucial.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
