This potential change lies very much in the hands of Triple H. We've already seen glimpses of his desire to turn Vince's "sports entertainment" company back into a wrestling promotion, from his hiring of several indie darlings in NXT, to Kevin Owens' recent assertion that he's a "wrestler". It seems a wise decision. Raw wasn't so curiously embarrassed to be a wrestling show when it first gained traction, and it's strange modern mindset is harming the product. The most flagrant difference in this regard must be the commentary. Very few manoeuvres are actually called these days, giving the show more of a vague sportscast feel. This might be closer to Vince's vision, giving his company more of a mainstream appeal, but it's ultimately turning off the core fanbase.
