The passing of Brodie Lee was one of the most heartbreaking events in pro wrestling. With zero tribalism involved from any quarters, wrestlers, fans, and insiders from all corners of the wrestling world mourned the tragic and unexpected death of a giant of the game who was enjoying the best run of his entire career.
As the benevolent leader of the previously directionless Dark Order, Brodie Lee was a revelation to the AEW roster. Having been underutilised in WWE, he came into his own wrestling for Tony Khan.
