8 Times The Rock Proved He CAN Cut A Bad Promo

3. The Rock Gets All Kinda Racist

The Attitude Era was a different time, not just for the WWE, but for the world in general. And while some would lament that our culture has become too politically correct for its own good, we can all probably come to some sort of compromise when it comes to mocking people about their race.

And it would probably be safe to say that The Rock went a little too far with it when he decided he would speak to Eddie Guerrero only using Mexican stereotypes (to the tune of "La Bamba" no less).

Sure, Guerrero himself ventured into self-parody by this point, but The Rock outdoes him by a mile, comparing him to Cheech and Chong while cutting Eddie off with loud bursts of Spanish-sounding gibberish. This wouldn't be so egregious if The Rock hadn't already done the same thing to Chinese people (remember that "Ching chong ping pong hit Stone Cold AAAIIIIIIEEEEEEEE" comment from the infamous Who Ran Over Austin angle?).

And besides, you can only get away with being casually racist if what you're saying is at least funny. Sadly, none of this really was.
