8 Times Wrestlers Embarrassed Themselves On Camera

2. Vince McMahon Gets Heated With Bob Costas

There have been many discussions in the media about the differences between Vince McMahon, the person, and Vince McMahon, the onscreen character. One of those discussions occurred during an interview with Bob Costas while McMahon was promoting his ill-fated venture into real-world sports, the XFL.

But never have the two "different" personalities blurred so heavily.

McMahon is a blustering bully throughout the interview, using obvious intimidation tactics -- such as leaning closer and closer to Costas and shoving his finger in his face -- to force his misguided opinions through. At one point he angrily tells Costas to "shut his mouth" so he can finish whatever off-topic rant he'd started to make Costas interject in the first place.

Also, McMahon claims the XFL wouldn't fail -- it did, after just one season -- and that there's no misogyny in the WWE -- which there is, often.

Sure, some of the questions were dated and a bit pointed, and Costas does frequently interject, but that's only because McMahon prefers to ramble like he does in his promos rather than answer the questions outright.

He made some good points, but for the most part he comes off as the same egomaniacal prick he "portrays" on fictional television.
