8 Times WWE's Triple H Was A DISASTER-TIER Booker
1. Flip-Flopping R-Truth
R-Truth being let go by WWE is one of the biggest surprise moments in recent years. Beloved by all and on the comedic run of a lifetime as a great addition to The Judgement Day and then successfully reviving Awesome Truth with The Miz, Truth's firing was a massive misjudgment of his popularity with fans by TKO. The subsequent outrage meant they had to quickly walk that decision back, and he was rehired within weeks.
What has since followed has been a creative disaster. R-Truth returned and delivered an impassioned and intimidating promo, cutting his dreads off on the announcer's desk, and announcing to the world that he was back as Ron Killings. This felt fresh and was set to give him a new lease of life as a menacing heel, but shortly after, WWE returned him to his goofy R-Truth persona because he decided he loved John Cena. Sure.
This creative flip-flopping killed over a year's worth of momentum and reduced a popular midcard talent to something far less relevant. R-Truth's legacy and popularity with fans are set in stone forever, but the muddled mess of his booking has deflated his worth in a big way.
