8 UFC Stars Set To Dominate 2020

4. Jorge Masvidal

In addition to the prospect of a mouth-watering fight against Kamaru Usman, in the minds of many a fight fan, Jorge Masvidal is set for a hugely intriguing 2020.

Following jaw-dropping KO victories over Darren Till and Ben Askren earlier in 2019, Masvidal's year ended with him beating Nate Diaz to become the inaugural UFC BMF Champion. And while the possibility of that Usman fight is a match-up that could be phenomenal, it's the BMF Championship that offers up a whole host of other big fights for Gamebred.

Already, the UFC BMF Championship has seen Conor McGregor, Justin Gaethje, Tony Ferguson, Nick Diaz, and rematching with Nate Diaz mentioned as potential 2020 fights for Masvidal. All of those fights would be guaranteed to bring in some big PPV buys for the UFC, and all of those opponents would prove to be tough tests for Jorge.

Continuing on from his brilliant 2019 however, expect Jorge Masvidal to continue his momentum through into 2020 - even if that means he has to go through badass fighters like Usman, McGregor, Gaethje, Ferguson, or the iconic Diaz brothers.
