8 Ups & 10 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Apr 22)

Raw's second Triple Threat wasn't as engaging as the first, such were the athletic discrepancies, but it still hit the right notes with Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, and The Miz working hard to craft something meaningful.

While many would peg McIntyre is the best pure wrestler in the bout, Miz was the biggest highlight. He continues to impress as an unlikely babyface. While his last run on this side of the alignment scale was a shambles, his fiery promo work and stirring performances between the ropes have revealed him to be an even more versatile performer than anyone knew. Miz is a masterful sports entertainer, really. Appreciate him while he's still in his prime.

This fun TV clash even had the right finish, with Miz taking the pinfall. His Skull-Crushing Finale attempt was thwarted by Corbin. Cue: Drew blasting him with the Claymore, Baron dumping McIntyre out of the ring, then stealing the pinfall like the piece of sh*t heel he is. McIntyre looks protected, Corbin looks like a scumbag. What's not to like?
