8 Ups & 10 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Apr 22)

7. The Raiders Return

The Viking Raiders
WWE

RIP The Viking Experience; we hardly knew ye.

Credit to Vince McMahon for pulling the plug on his worst ever WWE name-change after a week of public rinsing. Granted, "The Viking Raiders" is but a marginal improvement, and yes, the "Experience" lives on as Erik and Ivar's finisher, but at least their name doesn't sound like a museum exhibit anymore.

Their non-match with the Lucha House Party worked, too. The former War Raiders obliterated Lince Dorado, Kalisto, and Gran Metalik before the bell rang, lobbing them around like tomatoes in Pamplona. Erik and Ivar are very, very well-versed in the destructive arts, and things like this will get them over, even if last night's dead-*ss crowd couldn't have cared less.
