8 Ups & 10 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Apr 22)

1. Wowee Yowee! Bray Wyatt Is Back...

If you want to call last night's Bray Wyatt repackaging terrible, we wouldn't argue.

Similarly, if you want to call it the best WWE segment ever ZOMG!!!!, we wouldn't argue either.

This was one of the most hilarious pieces of content the company has put together in ages. Whether this was intentional or not is up for debate, but seeing the former 'Eater Of Worlds' reborn as a glib Firefly Fun House leader was the best kind of absurd Sports Entertainment bullsh*t, particularly with the big man throwing out lines like "wowee yowee, we're gonna have so much fun here!"

The whole thing is utterly preposterous, of course, but the sinister cult leader character lost all credibility years ago. Nobody needed a fresh start more than Bray, and this barmy, batsh*t gem of a segment excelled not only because it saw Wyatt literally take a chainsaw to his old persona, but start a new journey in the opposite direction.

There's every chance that these segments will turn to WrestleCrap before long, but for now, the Firefly Fun House is a much-needed oddity.
