By The Numbers is a neat little way to incorporate Alex Marvez into AEW shows without overexposing him on commentary, while simultaneously pushing the "real sport feel" with basic statistics and analytics.

Designed to promote this week's Dynamite, the segment saw Marvez note it had been 88 days since AEW was last in Chicago, which is also how long Kenny Omega has been stewing since losing to PAC, with the duo set to rematch tonight. Zero was Chris Jericho's loss count until Scorpio Sky pinned him to help set up their AEW World Championship match, while eight was the number of stitches Cody needed after facing Jericho at Full Gear.

Nothing game-changing here, but a neat inclusion nonetheless. They should become a regular Dark fixture going forward.
