8 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite: The Crossroads (Mar 3)

Downs...

2. Dynamite Slows Down

Max Caster
AEW

Dynamite's unreal momentum started slowing down when 10 and Max Caster hit the ring for a match that was fundamentally solid but lacking in energy and urgency, as the duo struggled to break out of third gear.

There was no sign of Caster's Acclaimed partner, Anthony Bowens, though Max still dropped bars on 10, saying he looked like a fireball hit Ronnie Garvin and telling -1 to meet him in the streets. A solid but unspectacular match followed. Low on the fun factor that permeated everything else on Dynamite up to this point, it saw the duo go back and forth with 10 almost taking the win via Powerbomb, following Caster's missed elbow drop. Jack Evans then emerged from beneath the ring, cracked 10 with a boom box, and gifted Caster the win, the TH2 man taking payment from Matt Hardy afterwards.

Matt has promised to destroy every Dark Order member as part of his feud with Hangman Page. This pushed that storyline forward, though it was hardly "destruction."
