8 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Aug 4)

Downs...

2. A Deal With Deonna

First off, it's great that Impact Wrestling are finally doing something with Kimber Lee. Perhaps they were waiting until she had officially signed with them to properly use her, and now that she's done so, she's immediately being inserted into the Knockouts Championship picture.

But taking out Jordynne Grace so that Deonna Purrazzo doesn't have to isn't the way to go for anyone involved, even if Kimber has a Knockouts Championship match waiting for her if she succeeds. All it does is benefit Jordynne, as she'll no doubt decimate 'The Crown Jewel' easily, and go on to the title match on night two of Emergence. Additionally, it majorly makes Purrazzo look like a weak champion. We already know she can hang with 'Thicc Mama Pump' as she proved both at Slammiversary and in the build towards the pay-per-view. This wasn't necessary at all.

There are worse things Lee could be doing obviously, but the point still remains.
