8 Ups & 3 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (2 Sep)
2. This Ain't Before The IMPACT
Decay is still, for whatever reason, reeling off the audience chanting "bite his face off" towards Fallah Bahh.
You know, the same banter that was only a tad funny the first time it happened, which was all the way back at Slammiversary on 17 July. Last night's IMPACT, meanwhile, aired on 2 September. There are 47 days between those two dates, so why is the exact same match being fought?
Fallah and Crazzy Steve were the culprits, with the No Way and Black Taurus sections of the match going down fine. Taurus's sling blade early on was a treat, for example. There wasn't enough to enjoy about this, though. A match can't be saved based upon one enjoyable Black Taurus manoeuvre. A middle-rope DDT from Steve to Bahh ended this.
This was a Before The IMPACT match masquerading as an IMPACT match. Literally, the only reason to justify this making it to the main card was the involvement of the Knockouts Tag Team Titles arc. Any other time, this would have been a pre-show bout.
