8 Ups & 6 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (June 28)

6. Confession Time

Finally, something on the positive side of things regarding the Eddie Edwards/Killer Kross rivalry!

Edwards was in a church this week as he wanted to confess all of his sins from the last year and a bit (he's got quite a few - this could have easily been the entire episode) only for Kross to barge on in. He tried to persuade Eddie into accepting this darker side of him, but the former American Wolf was adamant that he wanted to change his ways.

Now, if you're just glancing at this quickly, you may think it should be receiving a Down as what Edwards is saying may not make that much sense. He doesn't want to accept this dark side of him even though he's been doing just that for the last 12 months. However, you could also look at this as Eddie having a split personality disorder, which would certainly explain quite a bit.

The segment ended with Eddie leaving the church, leaving Kross to confess some sins of his own. Perhaps he was wanting forgiveness for the pain he plans to inflict on the multi-time Tag Team Champion in their First Blood Match at Slammiversary?
