8 Ups And 1 Down For WWE NXT (May 4)

7. DiBiase Teaches Grimes A Lesson

A week removed from the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase embarrassing the Dogefather in his attempts to purchase the perfect Rolex, Cameron Grimes got himself back on track with a W in his match against Asher Hale last night.

It must be said that Hale put in a valiant effort, however, with Grimes on the ropes on a number of occasions on the back of a vicious modified dragon-screw and picture-perfect flying dropkick. But a vicious Cave-In out of seemingly nothing was enough to seal the deal for the Stock Exchange guru.

One terrible calculation at the expense of Ever-Rise later, though, Grimes was left on the outside looking in when it came to his coveted V.I.P. experience. His plans to celebrate his win and party the night away were well and truly evaporated by the realisation that the MDM himself had once again outbid the star. This time DiBiase had rent the whole damn venue, advising the arrogant Grimes to do the same next time round.

Having Grimes share the screen with a recognisable legend like DiBiase week after week is already making the mid-carder feel like more of a star. If this all leads to DiBiase and Grimes putting their heads together for a business venture, I smell even more money for all parties concerned.
