8 Ups And 1 Down From WWE NXT 2.0 (Sep 21)
6. Kay Lee Ray Impresses Again
For some untold reasons, Kay Lee Ray and Amari Miller were spotted brawling in the aforementioned show-opening segment. Perhaps they both simply wanted one of those fabled "opportunities" more than the other. Who knows? What we did know, though, was that the two would collide in the squared-circle later in the night.
And when they did, Miller got off to a hot enough start before KLR quickly reminded everyone why she was the longest reigning Women's Champion in the modern era. After pummelling Miller into a vulnerable position, the Scot caught a stray kick and transitioned beautifully into a KLR bomb for the victory.
The sooner the former NXT UK Women's Champion finds herself in the NXT title picture the better, in all honesty. There's only so many jobbers she can plough through before things start to get a little stale, and in the grand scheme of "deserving" things, does anyone else warrant a shot as much as her currently? Naht, notta.
