2. Imperium Dominate, Dain On The Verge?

The tease of Imperium expanding their ranks has been prevalent within NXT for weeks now, with hints that both Killian Dain and Timothy Thatcher could be re-aligning themselves with their various former partners.

Said teases continued this week as Imperium's Fabian Achner and Marcel Barthel took on Ever-Rise in tag team action. After dominating early on, Dain made his presence known to the unit, confronting old pal Alexander Wolfe at ringside. Drake Maverick would then launch an assault on the former SAnitY man, only for Dain to drag his tag partner to the back to avoid anymore chaos.

The damage had been done, however, as from this chaotic scenario Imperium were able to keep a cool head and overcome Ever-Rise with a sweet power-bomb/uppercut combination.

Whether we'll have to wait for the re-emergence of the Ring General before Imperium officially recruit some new soldiers to their ranks or the current American contingent set in motion these plans whilst their leader is on another continent, remains to be seen. For now though, Imperium appear to be on the up and have put the rest of the lock room on notice.
