It's safe to say that the NXT tag division has rarely looked as stacked as it currently does, and one of the true stand-out duos in that field of worthy adversaries are undoubtedly the Grizzled Young Veterans.

The pair once again were given the chance to flex both their verbal and physical muscles within the CWC this week, ripping to shreds Breezango's choice of Queen's Guard attire on the mic and doing the same thing to their bodies between the ropes.

What makes Zack Gibson and James Drake such a vibrant unit on the black and gold brand, however, isn't their flashy tag team offence or ability to isolate an opponent - both of which they excel in regardless. It's their willingness to cut corners with the kind of skill and craft that deserves its own chapter in the big book of how to do wrestling right. Drake "jarring his knee" so Gibson could get away with a momentum shifting poke to the eye? Marvellous.

Their Ticket to Mayhem-assisted victory here only serves as a reminder as to who the real number one contenders are to MSK's NXT Tag Team Championships. Hope you're taking notes, boys. These lads are looking to be recognised sooner rather than later.
