While many a Poppy fan will have no doubt rushed to stream her new album the minute the star announced that she'd dropped it mid-show, Candice LeRae most definitely would not be clicking play on the tunes.

Already pissed that Poppy was hogging the spotlight despite the fact herself and Indi Hartwell were the reigning NXT Women's Tag Team Champions, the sight of the singer upsetting her Way apprentice by hugging Dexter Lumis was enough to take her from fed up of Hartwell's constant fawning over the steely-eyed weirdo to brassed off and determined to get one over on the musician. What a difference a segment makes, eh?

Poppy wasn't here to fight, though. But someone else was.

Cue the return of former NXT Women's Champion Io Shirai who quickly set about battering her old rival LeRae as Poppy watched on with a smirk on her face.

It isn't clear whether this is leading to a celebrity-infused tag match later down the road, with Poppy's comments of not being here to wrestle casting more doubt on that scenario. However, if we're simply gearing up for more Shirai vs. LeRae goodness, there are worse ways to spend a Tuesday night.
