8 Ups And 2 Downs For WWE NXT (Jun 8)
6. Winner Takes All Is Set For TakeOver
One week removed from being turned into NXT's latest meme, Santos Escobar took to the ring and called out the man responsible for turning him into a human pancake - Bronson Reed.
Before the former NXT Cruiserweight Champion could get his hands on the current North American Champion, though, the reigning NXT Tag Team Champions arrived on the scene to back up the Australian powerhouse; not before he replayed the aforementioned splatting incident a few times, mind.
Instead of heading down the trite road of a meaningless six-man battle for bragging rights, however, this short and sweet segment ultimately resulted in the Legado leader issuing a "winner takes all" challenge to the faces in the ring. It didn't take long for the confident lads to accept, and TakeOver: In Your House just got that little bit more interesting.
If nothing else, the combination of the explosive, colossal Reed and ridiculously innovative MSK will open the door for many more "holy sh*t moments" worthy of a TakeOver stage. But should Legado fail in their quest to seize gold once again, you have to imagine they'll head straight to the back of both queues and may need to head on over to another brand to get back on track.
Either way, all six men are brilliant. So therefore, the match should be too... in theory.
