5. Swerve Delivers Another Hit

After once again having to stick up for his unlikely partner Drake Maverick, Killian Dain found himself going up against Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott and, more importantly, the rest of Hit Row last night.

As you'd expect, Dain quickly set about rag-dolling the leader of NXT's hottest new faction. However, it didn't take long for the rest of the gang to make their presence known and throw the mountain of a man off his game. Still, it appeared as though Dain would simply have too much for 'Swerve' when all was said and done as the star from Belfast wiped out his elusive adversary with his trademark running crossbody.

Yet, in the end, the aforementioned numbers game paid dividends, with Maverick being pulverised on the apron by Top Dolla opening the door for Scott to nail a distracted Dain with a running enziguri in the corner for the victory.

Expect more of this style of tactic from the group over the coming weeks and months, but that's not to say it's necessarily a bad thing. Their ability to get the job done by any means necessary will make for some compelling showdowns with the likes of Legado del Fantasma and MSK, as hinted at pre-match, and no doubt pave the way for Scott to reach the next level in his development.
