For all their battles since the Shield dissolved, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins never really had a serious heart-to-heart. The two former brothers and opponents have confronted each other several times, but Monday was one of the first times they actually had a real conversation about everything – at least where there was a chance things could be resolved.

Ambrose flat-out doesn’t trust Rollins, and Seth thinks what happened three years ago is ancient history. That makes for a tough situation. Monday, Rollins finally apologized for betraying Ambrose (and Reigns) and asked for Dean to let it go. But when Ambrose refused, Rollins took it a step further, turning his back and telling the Lunatic Fringe to use his steel chair on him.

However, Dean refused to attack, hinting that a truce was imminent. Naturally, the Miz intervened, preventing us from seeing what happens next, but it was a nice opening segment with to popular former friends trying to mend fences.
