8 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Sept 23)

4. The Man Wants The Best

Becky Lynch partly made a name for herself with her biting wit and scorching promos, along with solid in-ring work.

Monday, the Raw Women’s Champion showed that she can torch an interview without raising her voice. Lynch did a sit-down interview with Michael Cole and immediately acknowledged that she wants her Hell in a Cell opponent Sasha Banks on a hot streak. She said bluntly that when she came to Raw, the women’s division was “in shambles” after Ronda Rousey had torn through the roster, noting that she “can’t make history alone.”

It was a salient point, with Becky wanting to face the best to prove she’s the best, without saying it over and over, talking about the Hall of Fame or whatever WWE-approved language you’d expect here.

Lynch simply wants to make history by beating opponents at the top of their game. Nice and easy to understand.
