5. Who Talks Like That?

This could probably be said about numerous promos, but the backstage “dialogue” between Sasha Banks and Bayley after The Boss’ victory over Nikki Cross was just abhorrent.

These backstage segments always look so faked, with two people presumably talking to each other (and ignoring the camera, which leads you to believe that they don’t see it) while facing the same direction rather than facing each other. You can overlook that, but the actual dialogue was just ridiculous.

Word circulated recently that some wrestlers were being allowed to craft their own promos from a few bullet points, and you just have to hope that this wasn’t one of them. Regardless, it was just a forgettable, useless promo, one of a bunch we’ve seen time and time again. But this column needed to put at least one on blast.
