8 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE Raw (20 March - Review)

UPS…

8. Ford Continues To Excel

As much as many fans don’t want to see the Street Profits break up, every time Montez Ford has a singles match, it just becomes tougher to ignore the star quality he oozes.

Ford has “future champion” written all over him, and his skills were on display Monday night as he outshined the guy facing John Cena in a marquee match at WrestleMania, Austin Theory. Montez ran circles around the United States Champion, unloading a ton of offense and even a bit of humor (sitting down on fans’ laps and announcing that Raw would be back after these messages) before Theory caught Ford with a rolling dropkick and an A-Town Down for the win.

It's obvious to everyone with a pulse and two eyes that Ford has “it,” so hopefully they aren’t going to sit on him for too long before strapping a rocket to him. Angelo Dawkins is no slouch himself, so maybe both men should get some due consideration.

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
