Could it be that we’re actually going to see a real tag team feud for the WWE Tag Team Championships instead of a comedy act more befitting Golden Truth?

As noted earlier, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows ditched their lab coats Monday night and proceeded to just berate New Day for all their celebrations, props and catchphrases, noting that none of them mattered because Gallows & Anderson were owned a tag title rematch that they intend to win.

If we indeed are getting away from the silly ringpostitis angle and moving into an actual feud, then this is a positive step. Big E, returning from injury, got to re-establish himself by beating Anderson, which might upset some, seeing one of the top contenders lose, but considering the road we went down the last several weeks, a feud rooted in actual in-ring competition is an improvement. So we’ll give the benefit of the doubt for now.
