8 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Aug 22)

1. It’s Bayley!

Oh Hallelujah, WWE finally pulled the trigger on bringing Bayley up to the main roster!

Despite Charlotte’s awesome dig at Bayley being the one of the Four Horsewomen left behind in NXT last year, it didn’t diminish her arrival Monday night at exactly the right time. Sasha Banks landed on the injured list, and Paige is out with a wellness policy suspension, so the women’s division is probably at its thinnest.

Bayley has been ready for some time now, and with her loss to Asuka at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II on Saturday, it was only logical that she show up on Raw ready to challenge Charlotte for the WWE Women’s Championship.

Hopefully, this will be a shot in the arm for the division and keep things going while Sasha recovers. And let’s also hope that Vince McMahon doesn’t tinker with Bayley’s character too much. She already is more “over” than half the roster, so let her connect the same way she has in NXT.
