8 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Aug 8)

4. Paging Dr. Anderson, Dr. Gallows.

Someone must have performed a personality transplant on Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, as the duo traded in their typical no-nonsense attacks for a little humor Monday.

The duo donned white lab coats and did a fake commercial, posing as doctors warning people of Ringpostitis, a disease that already has felled Big E. Sure, they went a little silly with the “balls” joke, but the entire segment did a nice job of making Gallows and Anderson look a little more three-dimensional. They had their moment joking around and then got to show off how serious they are as a tag team.

It looks more and more like WWE is ready to move the tag division in a different direction after New Day will have held the gold for 52 weeks at SummerSlam, so it would make sense that the team most likely to eliminate them develop a personality and be more than just an angry duo.
