3. Can We Just Break Up The Dudleys?

We have now reached the point where a makeshift team of midcarders can defeat former nine-time WWF/E tag champs the Dudley Boyz. It seriously is time to stick a fork in this duo.

On Monday, Bubba Ray and D-Von confronted Neville backstage before Raw, prompting a tag match where Neville could choose a partner. He grabbed Sin Cara, a man whose last big tag team victory came at the Money in the Bank kickoff show against… the Dudleys. However, miscommunication between the brothers led to D-Von eating a Red Arrow and the loss, just like that.

However, the silver lining here was that Bubba Ray stared a hole through D-Von post-match, to the point that you were almost expecting him to turn on his brother and finally embark on a singles career. Bubba Ray did excellent work in TNA as Bully Ray, and even though breaking up the Dudleys would probably destroy D-Von’s career, you have to ask what kind of career is losing to makeshift tag teams in less than four minutes.

At this point, WWE has to be considering doing something, because trotting the Dudleys out there to lose like this is only going to make their eventual induction into the WWE Hall of Fame seem crazy to younger fans.
