4. A Match Without Wrestling

Can you still call a match without more than three offensive moves a wrestling match? Sure, matches sometimes simply serve as a backdrop for an angle, but the €œbout€ between Goldust and Tyler Breeze was about as terrible of a €œmatch€ as you will see this year (unless Eva Marie and Rosa Mendes have a 10-minute contest).

The whole point of the match was that Goldust and R-Truth have found new tag team partners (Fandango and Breeze, respectively) and are making each other jealous that they€™ve €œmoved on€ (no, seriously). So Goldust knocked Breeze down with a punch €“ which Prince Pretty sold as if he had been shot €“ and then pleaded with Truth for a good 30 seconds.

This actually repeated itself a couple times, with Breeze spending most of the match rolling around on the mat, selling a punch like he had been powerbombed through a stack of flaming tables. Breeze ultimately rolled up Goldust for the win, and to put this abomination to rest.

Sadly, the courtship of the Golden Truth will seemingly continue.
