This is a minor gripe, but one that needs to be lodged.

Typically, we ignore the “Did you know?” bumpers on Raw, but one on Monday touted WWE’s superiority as the #1 sports channel on YouTube, besting the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, FIFA and the Olympics (and maybe disc golf and dodgeball, who knows?). So WWE is officially a sport when it’s convenient, but entertainment all other times.

Look, this is something that’s been going on for decades with Vince McMahon. It’s a sport, it’s sports entertainment, it’s entertainment. WWE is all of this, but don’t try to pigeonhole it – the company will decide what it is and when it is. If their YouTube videos are besting various TV shows’ recaps, then expect a “DYK: WWE is the #1 entertainment channel” bumper soon.
