The New Day has held the Tag Team Championships for nearly nine months, and 10 months of the past year. They have consistently been one of the most entertaining parts of Raw €“ sometimes the only truly enjoyable part of Raw. After being given a death sentence of a gimmick the trio of friends turned lemons into lemonade, and they€™ve reaped the benefits.

But it looks like that ride could be coming to an end.

Monday night, the tag champs got the €œdeath slot€ immediately prior to the main event. They did their routine, with a lot of reference to Booty O€™s and made a joke about the Vaudevillains wanting to take the tag titles back to a bygone era that wasn€™t kind to people like them. You know, smartphone users. (Uggh.)

It looks like the group might finally be running out of steam after a year atop the tag team division, which would stink, but it was bound to happen at some point. Of course, New Day could always turn around and catch fire again with a few tweaks, but it definitely felt like aside from their catchphrases, they fell a little flat Monday.
