We've all seen McMahon losing his temper inside the ring, we've even heard of him losing his temper in the boardroom, but this was the first time we had seen WWE's owner losing his temper during a public appearance. Vince appeared on the HBO show, On the Record shortly after the first season of his XFL had finished. The early stages of the interview focussed on the league's failure, which obviously hit McMahon's pride with some force. Later in the interview, Costas, and his "elitist" views, criticised McMahon for some of the aspects of WWE programming and an incident where a young girl was murdered by a young boy who used certain wrestling moves on her. This was the final straw for Vince as he got all up in Costas' face as the interviewer failed to do his research and continuously interrupted WWE's chief.
