4. Finn Bálor
The man who inspired this list, and arguably, one of its greatest practitioners, Finn Bálor has been granting a big match feel to marquee battles since his days in New Japan as Prince Devitt.
Granted, his body paint no longer has the variety it once did. Overseas, he would incorporate other famous characters from pop culture and literature into his painted persona. Venom, The Joker, Darth Maul, Freddy Kreuger... all of them and more have inspired Finn's warpaint.
In NXT, other than one Jack the Ripper-inspired, 'The Demon' has been his only painted alter ego. Still, it is a devastating, awe-inspiring persona.
The return of the Demon at SummerSlam last night can only be a good thing for Bálor. It separates him from the pack, putting a spotlight on his character and his wrestling acumen both.
