8 Wrestlers Who Should Compete In A NXT Title Tournament

4. Aleister Black

The exact same goes for Aleister Black.

As a former NXT Champion in his own right, Black would bring some prestige to the tournament if it happened and he was involved. Plus (and this is a big plus), he was the one who shockingly lost the belt to Tommaso Ciampa on an episode of NXT TV last July. It makes sense that he'd want another crack at glory.

Black could even cut promos about how he wants to mimic Kevin Owens in 2015 and take the NXT Title to the main roster with him for a while. To him, this tournament would represent the chance to raise the stock of NXT as a brand, and proudly fly the flag for what WWE's alternative style can do in front of a bigger audience.

That's another natural story in a tourney that should be stacked with them. Between the mini-Undisputed Era battle, Riddle vs. Dream and this, the brackets would have enough juice.
