8 WWE NXT Call-Ups That Will Happen After WrestleMania 35

5. Kairi Sane

Kairi Sane's main roster call-up would come with concerns similar to Candice LeRae's, made worse, sadly, by her nationality. WWE don't book Japanese wrestlers well. This point has been repeated so many times that it has almost become cliché, but one need only look at Shinsuke Nakamura and Asuka for proof. Neither feels half as special as they did back in NXT, despite one of them holding what is supposed to be one of WWE's most prestigious championships and making the red-hot Becky Lynch tap out at Royal Rumble 2019.

Perhaps the 'Pirate Princess' can make it work. She's a phenomenal in-ring talent. Phenomenal. An elite athlete, she glides around the ring like a speedster, walloping opponents with surprisingly hard-hitting offence while winning audiences' hearts with her babyface charisma. Said skill and likeability give her two ways of getting over on Raw or SmackDown. Booking her the right way would be critical, but Kairi might be good enough to transcend such concerns.

Clashes with the likes of Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Ember Moon would pop star ratings and live crowds. Besides, there's next to nothing left for her to do in NXT.
