If you've managed to sit through either the independently-released 'Last Of McGuinness' documentary or WWE's own 'Chasing The Magic' release without crying, then you have a heart of stone. Seeing someone's dreams crash and burn before their very eyes is an uncomfortable watch, especially if one knows the passion McGuinness has for wrestling.

Despite struggling to come to terms with the end of his in-ring road almost a decade ago, Nigel has pulled himself together.

In 2011, following a retirement tour of his UK homeland, McGuinness reinvented himself as a colour commentator in ROH. His early appearances weren't the best, but the former World Champ eventually harnessed his knowledge of holds, psychology and all-things-wrestling to great effect.

Then, in late-2016, Nigel signed with WWE and has become the go-to colour voice for NXT, the UK brand and 205 Live. It must make him feel good to know he bounced back.
