6. Shinsuke Nakamura Vs. AJ Styles: A Rivalry Renewed
One of the best feuds in all of wrestling over the last five years AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura battling for supremacy in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
The two internationally acclaimed Superstars last battled early in 2016 at the gigantic Wrestle Kingdom event. It was the final appearance of The Phenomenal One in NJPW but now that both reside under the same WWE umbrella, the opportunity exists for the renewal of their rivalry on the biggest stage imaginable.
Nakamura figures to remain busy for the next few months, the top babyface in NXT and the No. 1 contender to Samoa Joe's heavyweight championship. Once that program wraps up, though, the SmackDown brand could benefit exponentially from the arrival of The King of Strong Style and the revisiting of his epic series of bouts with Styles.
Few competitors have the presence of Nakamura and even less have the abilities that both he and Styles possess. The WWE Universe has never seen in-ring work the likes of which they would deliver, making the idea that much more appealing.
