8 WWE Superstars Who Are Miscast In Their Current Roles

1. Roman Reigns

If Vince McMahon wasn't so stubborn and turned Roman Reigns heel following the backlash he received from his Royal Rumble win in 2015, there's a good chance he wouldn't be struggling to solidify his spot as the face of the company today.

His string of stellar matches over the last two years have marked him as one of the company's best performers, and he can be brilliant on the microphone when he wants to be. By and large, though, he comes across like an arrogant jerk through how he carries himself, and oftentimes he embraces the boos.

Fans can compare it the original push John Cena received all they want, but the heat Cena garnered doesn't come close to how hated Reigns is by a majority of the audience. He can be that breakout babyface the company badly wants him to be if they take the heel route first, but they are adamant about getting fans to cheer 'The Big Dog' by keeping him a babyface.

Well, it has been almost three years since Reigns entered singles competition and very little has changed (which might be part of the problem). It isn't as if they haven't had their opportunities to turn him, either, and at this point, it appears they never will.
