9 Funniest Times Wrestlers CORPSED On Live TV

7. Booker T & The New World Order Face The Music

More deranged (calculated?) brilliance from Booker T here, passing a WWE test by elevating bad material in such a way that a segment about nothing can survive as a wonderful piece of wrestling commentary.

Bad material understates the situation the former five-time WCW Champion found himself in a little over a year after coming aboard. Trapped in a feud with the busted flush WWE version of the nWo, Booker had quickly gotten himself over as one of the best babyfaces on Monday Night Raw, and was added to the failing group as a temporary measure to add a little bit of levity to proceedings before their inevitable demise later that year.

On this particular week, he was lamenting having to use the New World Order theme music, citing how important it was that he could get in the zone when listening to his more familiar entrance music. Finding his stablemates backstage, Booker was so frustrated with having to wait behind a locked door for Shawn Michaels that he broke into a rant that subsequently broke all three of them.

Singing his own version of Shawn's iconic "Sexy Boy" theme song before ending with a flourish and the 'HBK' signature pose, Booker was the first to leave the shot, so tickled as he was with his own nonsense. X-Pac was gone, and Nash barely held it together as the cameras lingered the extra second or two before leaving the scene.

There'd be more of this to come too, albeit in more tenser times...
