9 HUGE WWE NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2020 Predictions You Need To Know

6. Dexter Lumis Vs. Cameron Grimes

There's a hilarious bit of hyper-reality in the typically unrealistic Friends where Paul Rudd's Mike and regular character Ross have to spend a bit of time together because respective partners Phoebe and Rachel go out and want them to bond.

It goes horribly, and after four awkward beers Mike leaves. Before he's even escaped the apartment building, Phoebe calls and needs him to go back in order to service that episode's sitcom contrivance. He does it out of love for her, forcing one of the great moments of desperation from an emotionally drained Ross. He cannot fathom why Mike would want more. "You left", he practically cries. Mike persists and re-enters his flat for more interminable patter. "But...you left", he says again, as if it matters at this point.

Cameron Grimes and Dexter Lumis had their payoff match at Halloween Havoc, yet here we f*cking are. "But they had their match", we've been crying. But Mike...sorry, Paul, (christ, maybe both of them) has booked it again.

When a match has absolutely no juice left in the fruit, talking about Friends is one of your writer's favourite distractions. Like The Simpsons, there's a scene or episode or season for everything. In the case of yet another Dexter Lumis/Cameron Grimes match, it's one of the Rachel/Joey ones from Season 9. It's happening, nobody really knows why anymore, and even less people want it.

WarGames will be the end of it.

Wait. Who inserted that laugh track?

Winner - Dexter Lumis
