The Usos will defend the SmackDown Tag Team Championships against Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin, and the titles will be on the line in a 2-out-of-3-falls match. The stipulation has come about thanks to controversial conclusions to previous matches between the two teams, and will hopefully the settle the score once and for all.

WWE has shown time and time again that it struggles to book effective 2-out-of-3-falls matches. This one will likely follow the usual story, with two falls happening in double quick time before an extended final fall. The stipulation will likely be rendered superfluous.

Considering the controversy that led to this match being booked, would a Tornado tag match not have made more sense? The chaotic nature of all four men being in the ring at once would have created fresh excitement, and would also have removed the fog surrounding legal men. Using the Tornado stipulation could have given WWE a way to book a short thriller - as opposed to a drawn out bout on a show full of lengthy matches.
