9 Most Unremarkable WWE Tag Teams Of The Past Decade
6. Camacho & Hunico (2012 And 2013)
Sometimes wrestlers have skill but they're so cliched, the WWE Universe just sort of rejects them. WWE tried to get Camacho and Hunico over as a Latino gangster-style tag team. That said, the company failed to get the fans to believe the duo was dangerous. This half-Samoan, half-Mexican tandem reminded viewers more of the Mexicools (sans the lawnmower) than anything worthy of a place in the WWE Hall of Fame.
The team would come to the ring in a low rider car — in a way, paying tribute to Eddie Guerrero — and played up the Latino stereotypes well past what Guerrero had made popular. It was a blatant ripoff and almost comedic in its delivery.
When the company realized the idea was better than the implementation, they figured it was best to make the team an enhancement duo that offered their opponents easy victories. They wrestled only 50 televised matches in two years and spent most of their time feuding with the likes of Kofi Kingston and R-Truth, Tons of Funk and The Prime Time Players.
When they split, Camacho went to NXT to feud with Adam Rose and Hunico went on to become Sin Cara.
