9 Next Steps For Roman Reigns After Winning The WWE US Title

Another milestone on Roman Reigns’ longer-term checklist has got to be some kind of Shield reunion.

Unlike a potential Royal Rumble appearance or another world title run though, I doubt there’d be as much of a fan backlash surrounding a reformation of one of the greatest factions in WWE history. That means that the company wouldn’t necessarily have to be as careful with their handling of a potential Shield reunion storyline, and so this is one next step that could actually happen sooner than this list might suggest.

Furthermore, with Seth Rollins now plying his trade as a face, it would be less of a stretch to somehow see Reigns, Rollins and Dean Ambrose once again find themselves singing from the same hymn sheet. I guess the only issue now would getting around the fact that Ambrose is on SmackDown, while the others are on Raw.

Still, a cross-promotional show such as, oh, I don’t know, WrestleMania 33, could be the perfect opportunity to bypass brand exclusivity rules and create an awesome one-off reunion that would likely produce a moment for the ages.
