Apollo Crews has quickly made a name for himself. He just made his debut at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn in August and hes already scheduled for an NXT Title Match against Finn Bálor on an upcoming episode of the show. There are a lot of people out there, both in and out of the industry, who are very high up on Crews and believe that he could be the big African-American main event star that WWE has been missing over the last number of years. The man has an approach to in-ring competition that is extremely hard to come by. He can pull off these death-defying flips that youd normally expect the likes of Neville and Kalisto to perform, yet hes got the frame, and the strength to boot, of a powerhouse. Hes like Lashley with elements of Matt Sydal incorporated, and its certainly a breath of fresh air. With an added charisma to give this man the full package, it wouldnt come as any surprise if Apollo Crews was crowned NXT Champion before the year is out, and even though hes only been around for a short time, a future WWE World Heavyweight Championship reign could definitely be in his future, whether its next year or five years from now. Hes a unique talent, and one that WWE would be foolish not to treat right.
